People believe that consumers are not purchasing homes and that no one can get a mortgage. Since the National Association of Realtors (NAR) released their Existing Home Sales Report these assumptions are proving to be false. According to the report there are, on average, 12,109 homes selling in the United States EVERY DAY! The report also states that 72% of these transactions are paired with a mortgage. As stated in the KCM Blog for real estate, "That means that approximately 8,719 people qualify for a mortgage on a daily basis in this country." With this many people purchasing homes and qualifying for mortgages it appears that the Real Estate market is doing even better than people think!
