By changing a few things about your front entry way you can instantly increase the curb appeal of your home.  First, install new shutters.  Make sure to properly measure your windows before ordering the shutters.  Although plastic shutters may be easier to install and slightly less expensive, wood shutters are the way to go.  Wood shutters have more character and are sure to stand out.  Shutter hardware will help eliminate movement and can also add another nice touch to the appearance of your windows. After installing your beautiful new shutters you are ready to move to window boxes.  Window boxes will create an area for you to plant gorgeous flowers.  These flowers will add your own personal style and taste to your home.  Select colorful flowers that will grab people's attention.   Be sure that the window boxes have plenty of drainage so that your flowers will flourish properly.  Lastly, a few small potted plants should be placed near your front door.  You can even paint the pots to match the shutters or window boxes.  These three tips will not only increase your curb appeal, but are sure to catch the eyes of all people passing your home.
