 Prepare your home for the New Year by using these unique storage solution ideas. 1) Organize your kitchen with a shoe holder. Add three screws to the top of your door and hang a clear shoe holder to the inside of your pantry door. Use brightly colored tags to label each pocket. 2) Create a message center in your kitchen. On the inside of a kitchen cabinet door you can screw in peg boards and/or a chalkboard. This will be a one-stop area to write any important events down and you will also be able to hook important items to the peg board. 3) Bath Dishes made from Terra Cotta flowerpots. Give you Terra Cotta pots new life by applying a fresh coat of paint. After painting them they will be great storage for small bathroom items like cotton balls, q-tips, and soap! 4) Create a recipe box out of an old cigar box. You can find unique cigar boxes at flea markets and resale shops. The boxes are a great fit to store all of your important recipes. 5) Transform your old screen door into a convenient pot rack. Drill hooks into the ceiling and use chains to hang the screen door from the hooks. Put small hooks on the screen (the side facing the ground) and arrange pots and baskets evenly to distribute the weight equally.
