McAllen Real Estate - Residential

CedarIt's hard to believe that summer has ended with the hot temperatures still on the rise.  Whether we can imagine it or not Autumn is among us in McAllen and the Rio Grande Valley.  With the help of a little Thanksgiving decor it may be a little easier to get into the holiday spirit.  Deep, rich fall colors and harvest images can make the hottest temperatures feel more cozy.  Although, we do associate outdoor lights with Christmas you can also use them to liven up your front door for Autumn. You can nestle warm red, orange, and yellow lights in your greenery to give the appeal of fall even though the color of our leaves may not be changing naturally.  Hay bails and corn stalks are wonderful yard items for a harvest display, and making you own wreath is a fun and easy way to give your neighbors a good sense of who you are by allowing your creativity to come alive.  Your windows should not be neglected.  Candles placed in gorgeous wood candle holders will add a warm, inviting touch.  You can also wrap ribbon around the base of your candles to add a little more flare.  By creating an enticing environment your home will be the hit of the neighborhood, and sure to be a success when having your family and friends over for a Thanksgiving feast!
