McAllen Real Estate - Residential

small_kitchenWhen you have a small kitchen, there are many innovative ways to make the most of your space. You might want to try installing small appliances, cabinets that extend to the ceiling, bring in multi-purpose furniture, and add wall shelves where needed. To save you even more space, use a drop-leaf table. Refrigerators can range between 30-48 inches wide, between 24-33 inches deep and are 60-84 inches high. Get one that "fits" the size of your kitchen space. There are also "counter-depth" refrigerators that extend only 24 inches that look built-in. You can also have a microwave and other appliances that fit under cabinets or the counter. Try to have only the kitchen accessories you need, so that, you can keep as much as you can off your precious counter space. Using a hanging rack for pots, pans, and other kitchen accessories is also a real space saver. Look around and be creative!
