Make sure he has proper and current insurance coverage, general liability and workers compensation insurance. What experience and certification does he have? How long has he been in business? Is he going to require a deposit with full payment due at project completion. What is the project timeline? You must have a clear, written proposal and contract with a warranty to cover product defect and workmanship. If you diligently follow all the proper steps, you will have a high quality roof for years to come.
