There are many simple and economical ways you can improve your bathroom, including projects that only take one day or one weekend. The first step is to get rid of all the clutter. Only place what you have to on your counter and try to do it stylishly using decorative storage or mirrored trays. Try to stick to a common theme or type of decor. Add towel racks wherever you have available space or hooks, again tying everything to the style you have chosen for your bathroom. If you have room, add a small piece of furniture, like a shelf, chest or cupboard for additional storage space. You can update the look of your floor with a new rug or peel-and-stick tiles. Buy a new shower rod if your old one needs to be replaced, accessorizing with a new shower curtain in the same theme you have chosen.
